The high school has also received an A-rating by the Florida Department of Education two years in a row. Many students there scored high in math, science, and writing exams. Eagle Point Elementary School boasts the highest scoring elementary school on the FCAT in 2006 and was a recipient of the Five Star School Award in 2002-2003, given by the Florida Department of Education.
