Sunrise Tennis Club

At less than 10-years-old, the Sunrise Tennis Club has earned its keep as one of the premier public tennis facilities in South Florida. The tennis club features 10 Hydrocourt clay courts, four asphalt-based cushioned courts, and one Hydrocourt tournament court. The multi-million dollar facility also has covered spectator areas, a clubhouse with a pro shop, players’ lounge and locker rooms. For those aspiring to be the next Serena Williams or Andre Agassi, you’re in luck. The Saviano High Performance Tennis Academy is housed at the Sunrise Tennis Club. Internationally-known Nick Saviano, one of the top coaching educators in tennis, works with players between the ages of 8 and 20, and offers individualized, world-class coaching and tennis lessons. It’s open weekdays, 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., and weekends, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The prestigious BMW Tennis Championship tournament is held here annually, giving South Floridians a unique chance to see some of the top men’s professional players.
